Data collected by members of the Teifi Rivers Invertebrate Monitors

The data from collections made in 2008 and 2009 is shown on this page -

Invertebrate monitoring through the winter- memnbers of the Llanybydder Angling Association collecting the dat for the 2009/10 winter sample.

 

 

Collection points 5, 8 and 10 are showing counts low enough to cause concern. The Environment Agency have been informed

and we are awaiting a response.

*SP 19 - The Afon Duar sample contained 12 Parr and 4 bullheads

SP 20 - The Nant Cledlyn sample contained 2 freshwater limpets

*Sampling point 6 had an interesting result , a large bullhead was caught in the sample and a brook lamprey and 15 minnows were seen adjacent to the sampling point.

*Sampling points 15, 16&17 had low counts but 2 brook lamprey were in the sample taken on the Afon Cerdin, SP16
