Interesting to see some horse fly larvae in the samples fromthe upper Teifi.

Autumn sample

Again there are some extremely low counts for the Clettwr (8,9 and 10) which is an ongoing cause for concern.

Floods prevented collections for a number of locations.

*Site 19, Afon Teifi contained 1 stone loach, 2 minnows, 1 bullhead

*Site 21, Afon Duar, contained 4 stone loach and limpets

*Site 22, Nant Cledlyn contained 1 bullhead 1 parr

Collection points 5, 8 and 10 are showing counts low enough to cause concern. The Environment Agency have been informed

and we're awaiting a response.

*Sampling point 6 had an interesting result , a large bullhead was caught in the sample and a brook lamprey and 15 minnows were seen adjacent to the sampling point.

*Sampling points 15, 16&17 had low counts but 2 brook lamprey were in the sample taken on the Afon Cerdin, SP16
